Import a SLD

To import a SLD A Styled Layer Descriptor allows a client to specify custom styles (such as colour and feature symbolization) that a Web Map Service will use to render a map layer. It helps you make better decisions by providing all the information you need in one place. Each workspace holds the files you need, your appointments, contacts, tasks and daily news. You use the workspace to share documents and maps and to collaborate with your colleagues through email, discussion boards, polls, surveys and blogs. from the My Workspaces dropdown list where you wish to import a SLD, then click Layers under Collections in the left menu. Click the icon beside the layer you wish to edit.

Prerequisites

• You must be logged in.
• You must be the owner of the layer or the workspace administrator.

Procedure

1. Click the Import SLD tab.
2. Enter the URL of a remote SLD that you would like to import.
3. Click the Import SLD button.
4. Click the Save and Close button.
